Brandon Krisztal joined the Fan staff approximately December 15th 2006 and within 3 days of his arrival, one of the biggest snowstorms in Denver history hit town, and snow lay on the ground for 4 months. The timing of these two events may not be ironic, but they are at least coincidental.
Brandon was honorably discharged as producer of The Scott & Al show, and moved to the most storied show in Denver Radio (or maybe it's the show with the most stories)...Irv, Joe and Jim. In addition to producing the afternoon show , Brandon has covered the Superbowl, The Final Four, The NBA All-Star Game and The World Series as a reporter for The Fan.
Brandon is a Dallas native, who loves the Cowboys, and Mavs, if the Rangers were relevant, he might care (but like Lebron James he cheers for the Yankees) and he thinks it’s neat when the Stars win. In addition to his Dallas teams, Brandon is a die-hard Kansas Jayhawk fan. As a graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism in 2000, Brandon has no problem using the term “we” when discussing the Jayhawks, but justifies it by the fact that he’s still paying to attend KU, despite having graduated 8 years ago. Not surprisingly, his favorite Denver sports personality is Mark Randall.
Brandon began his radio career at WWLS-AM “The Sports Animal” in Oklahoma City, with ESPN’s Doug Gottlieb. He then moved to Kansas City, where he helped launch KCSP-AM “610 Sports” along with K.C. personalities Jason Whitlock, Tim Grunhard and Bill Maas. He then headed to the Big Apple, where he was the Executive Producer of College Sports and NBA Programming at SIRIUS Satellite Radio, where he worked with the Terry Bowden, Kenny “The Jet” Smith, and Jerry Tarkanian, among others. After a brief sojourn into the world of television, Brandon made his way back onto the radio dial, as he headed west to the Rocky Mountain Front Range, and for better or for worse, it looks like we’re stuck with him for the foreseeable future…
FYI: Brandon's favorite baseball player of all-time is Rickey Henderson, thus he not only writes in third person, he often speaks in it....

Hello, I'm Scott DeHuff... you can just call me DeHuff. I'm going to give you a quick run down of my life. I'm the youngest of three, I was born on July 6 in Phoenix, Arizona and a month later my family moved to Colorado. So far, super exciting I know! Fast forward through the depressing and boring things in my life, in 2002 I decided to get into radio. In 2003 I got married to my hot wife(sorry no pictures available). I think it was 2006 when I was asked to work with Scott Hastings and Alfred Williams on the Scott & Al Show. I still can't decide if that was a good or bad choice (probably not a good choice, because they are mean to me...but I take it out on the interns, so I guess there's a healthy balance).
I've developed some "issues" or dislikes over the past, like I can't stand interns... most likely this is because they are dumb as a box of rocks, and trust me, rocks are dumb. Also, I hate Tofu, it's the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted! Also, I don't like Michael Jackson anymore, he made good music but he's too much of a freak.
Things I like: hot chicks are nice, The Broncos when they are winning is good...I also like pizza, puppies until they drop a load on the floor and I'm forced to pick it up, I'm a fan of porn (the classy stuff, not the raunchy stuff like the 2 girls 1 cup video), I'm a fan of money, but of course, I don't have any...ummm I said hot chicks already... I think that's it. Wait! My wife too! Wow, that was close.
My favorite movies are: Tombstone, Braveheart, Old School, The Last Samurai, Zoolander and Step Brothers.
Favorite T.V. shows: Lost, Family Guy, 30 Days, Hells Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Psych, House and 30 Rock.
Favorite music artists: Garth Brooks, Chris Cagle, Lenny Kravitz, Metallica, Kings of Leon, Michael Buble and Darius Rucker.
Goals in life: To one day be in a movie, I don't have to star in it I just want be seen on the big screen. |
